Our programs promote children to learn through play in a fun and meaningful way. This is their work and it is one of the most significant experiences for them. All staff encourage the processes involved in all learning rather than the end products that are achieved. Learning is not always evident in take home items.
Children will be given every opportunity to explore and discover their world in their own time and at their own pace. They will be encouraged to express their ideas and feelings and to develop confidence along with a positive approach to learning which will help them in future years.
Children begin to learn about themselves as they relate to their family, friends, the community and the world in which they live. Play provides a medium for children to discover through:
- Active exploration and experimentation
- Imitation and observation
- Trial and error
- Building and consolidating prior skills and knowledge
